Our first jeep event since buying our jeep, Woohoo!
Well, before I get too deep into the event I should mention that we found out about the event weeks before we had even bought our Jeep. I saw it posted by The North Texas Jeep club and mentioned it to Scott. Scott laughed and said we could go if we had a jeep by then. There went my chances of going or at least that's what I thought. Just a few nights before the event we bought the jeep. Before I could say anything Scott said: "I guess now we're going to jeep night!".
What is Jeep Night?
One of the Largest Jeep Events in Texas! The location changes monthly and is at Gas Monkey Bar and Grill several times a year. You can keep up with the dates and location on their Facebook page under events.
Jeep night is open to all Jeeps and Jeep clubs. It gives everyone a chance to get together, talk, compare Jeeps and have fun.
How Much Does it Cost?
There is no cover charge so your only cost is whatever you choose to purchase from vendors or eat and drink. NTJC did have clothing and stickers for sale at very reasonable prices.
What Do You Do?
Good questions. Jeep night is like any good get-together, you eat, talk, have fun and you get to see some amazing jeeps. Scott and I enjoyed seeing all the names people had come up with for their jeeps.
The event's goal was $5,000 in giveaways and from what I read and saw they surpassed their goal. Entry for the giveaways was via tickets. There were several ways to earn tickets including one for signing in and one for sharing the event on Facebook. Scott and I both received two tickets.
The video is a little shorter than we had hoped because of the wind. Next time we'll be sure to pack the extra mic with a wind filter. If you were at the event or recognize a jeep in the video be sure to leave us a comment and let us know.
What You Can Look Forward To
This was our first jeep event and we really didn't know what to expect. Now that we have a better idea of how to prepare you can count on better video, better pictures, and more details in advance about upcoming events we'll be at and all the details afterward.
