New Mexico has incredible off-road areas. Much of the off-roading is done on public land and can be quite remote and beautiful. With the amount of public land open for adventure there are not many off-road parks. This can also make navigation difficult. Finding the trail areas can take a lot of search time online. While we don't publish individual trails we can get you started with public land areas used for off-roading and documentation links about those areas that will give you coordinates to many trails. You will also want to look at the Registration and Permit page. New Mexico does require permits for off-roading.
